The hotel was constructed from the restored ruins of a 19th century mansion. The mansion was beautifully and authentically restored in the style of the 19th century Porfiriato period, over a three-year period from 2002 to 2005.

Place settings are sufficient to serve over 100 persons. The bar has one flat screen TV and an espresso machine. The restaurant and bar have a computer order and inventory system. The kitchen has a bathroom with shower facilities for use of the employees.
A large sitting room is located off the main reception area that is fully furnished with sofa, chairs, gas-log fireplace, TV, sound system, and radiant floor heat.
Two-vehicle ; attached parking garage, with automatic door opener. A secure 9-vehicle parking area with automatic door opener approximately 50 meters from the hotel is also included. The parking area also contains a storage room for the hotel.
Reception & office, fully furnished, with computer system and four wireless routers.
A Jacuzzi with gas heater is located in one of the outside garden areas.
The water system for the hotel consists of two below-ground cisterns with submersible pumps that are supplied by three taps to the municipal public water system. The cisterns have volumes of approximately 30,000 and 20,000 liters, respectively. The hotel water purification system consisting of filtration, softening and ultra-violet disinfection provides potable drinking water to all the guest rooms and the restaurant and bar. Hot water is provided by three separate propane water heaters.
There are three public bathrooms within the hotel, in addition to the private bathrooms in each guest room.
A 1,000-liter propane tank provides propane gas for water heating, radiant-floor heating and gas logs.
The hotel has a switchboard telephone system that provides phone service to each guest room and to the various common areas. Satellite TV ;service is provided to all of the guestrooms and to the bar and to the sitting room. Wi-Fi is available throughout all the public areas of the hotel and in some of the guest rooms.
The hotel has a six-camera security system.
The hotel has been decorated with an extensive collection of art by Mexican and foreign artists that have lived and/or exhibited in Mineral de Pozos. Many of the guest rooms as well as the common areas are tastefully furnished with antiques and Mexican folk art.
